Last Friday, I was lucky enough to represent Northstar Football News for easily one of the greatest high school football games I have ever seen. SMB (9-0, ranked as high as #9 in the Metro and #1 in 4A all year) at Benilde St. Margarets (9-0) was exciting from start to finish, and on a beautiful November night in St. Louis Park some of the best athletes Minnesota has to offer battled their hearts out for a section 6AAAA championship and a berth in the Minnesota state playoffs. Finishing 36-30 in favor of the SMB Wolfpack, the game was a back-and-forth contest that began with SMB receiving the opening half kickoff and getting the scoring going early as QB Jalen Suggs (6'5, 210) who is a top-5 dual threat QB in the nation as well as a top-10 basketball player, overcame a first play fumble and big loss to pick up a 4th and 1 with his legs and followed it up with a 40+ yard bomb to Terry Lockett Jr. (6'0, 175)- a 2020 4-star who holds offers from Michigan State, Iowa, and the U of M as well as D1 basketball offers- that got the Wolfpack down inside the 20 where sophomore RB Will Degarcia ran a
