The Mr. Football Award is a Two-Man Race:
- Russell Corrigan, QB/P/TE/LB, Hutchinson
Hutchinson quarterback Russell Corrigan had another dominant performance in week six. In a matchup against a very underrated Delano team, the Boise State commit came to play. He continued his usual dominance on the ground- while he ran for 102 yards on 22 carries, with four touchdowns. He also added some work through the air, where he was five of ten passing for 83 yards. Hutchinson used their stud's play in route to a 30-12 victory over Delano.
- Jonathan Kieren, RB, St. Anthony
At this point of the season Corrigan's only competition to take home the Mr. Football award might be St. Anthony running back Jonathan Kieren. In week six the senior running back continued his streak of literally video game like stat-lines with 256 rushing yards on 30 carries to go along with four touchdowns on the ground. The Huskies rode their bell cow in route to a 27-0 win over St. Croix Lutheran. Both players have solid argument to take home the award,
